One Year and Counting

The election for Governor is still a year away, but it is already heating up here in Jefferson City. Of course the better part of the city's jobs depends on the government and with the Governor and the Attorney General up for change, a lot of jobs could too. Happy Election Day.

Well, I'm a Missourian and I'll endorse one. I'm one of those people who consider Governor Matt Blunt to be Blunt Trauma to this state and I would contribute to a one-way airplane ticket sending him to some distant part of the globe. Not that Jay Nixon thrills me. He's been attorney general for as long as anyone can remember and isn't exactly inspirational but he will get the vote of everyone in my household.

Congratulations on your anniversary. It takes a lot of dedication to keep one of these things going for a year.

:) Watching election preparations from a distance is more interesting. It is also nice to know that I'm not the only one who feels the offerings are generally between the lesser of two evils. :) So it isn't just me.
