Carnegie Library

Right next door to the current library is the old Carnegie Library (now the Cole County Assessor's Office). It appears it was built from a grant of $25,000 on 1-15-1900 from Andrew Carnegie.

This is a lovely building, old buildings were so cheap and so beautiful.
