KidsFest

An annual event in Jefferson City is Kidsfest. It is always held on the second Saturday in June. It is a event at the Washington Park Ice Arena, sponsered by the local television station, KRCG. The entire day is aimed at kids. There was a petting zoo, a bounce house, face painting, dance and martial arts demonstrations, as well as games, a fire truck and ice cream. And all for free. It is a big event for the families that have children. This picture is of one of the exhibtors, the MOST accounts to save for your child's college. I will have more pictures the next few days of the fun.

There are so many more artsy and craftsy activities for kids nowadays, nothing like this when I grew up! We just colored and cut out paper dolls
