I was out of town last week, so no new shots of Jefferson City, but I have a few from the trip. Just to show that my capitol thing extends past the Missouri capitol, I planned the route of this trip so I could shoot two additional state capitols, even besides the one which was our destination.
This is the Illinois capitol in Springfield.

Unusual and interesting to have a state capitals thing going, since so many of them are not in major cities. The one I've passed through the most over the years is Lincoln, NE, whose capitol has pretty strange architecture. What's up next?
The capitol of my birth state. For some reason I remember it being whiter.
