There was really not tons of security at the swearing in ceremony that was obvious. There were uniformed officers and highway patrol everywhere, but there were no checks, no metal detectors and even a "potluck". Missouri really is a little bit country. I did however, spot these guys on the top of the capitol, so I am sure everything was being watched.
